About us

Gallery van Fanny Freytag is a gallery nestled in the heart of Amsterdam Noord, presenting exhibitions by emerging and established contemporary artists. The gallery opened its doors in the autumn of 2023 as a sister gallery to Gallery Vriend van Bavink. The gallery showcases a diverse range of local and international artists.

Founded on the principle of celebrating artistic diversity, the gallery curates exhibitions that explore both personal narratives and broader societal questions. From reflections on the world around us to intimate stories infused with humour, the exhibitions aim to provoke thought and evoke emotion. Inspired by the spirit of artist Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven, the gallery is committed to providing artists with a platform to share their voices.
